Albert Memorial
Commissioned by Queen Victoria in memory of her beloved husband, Prince Albert who died of typhoid in 1861, the memorial was designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott in the Gothic revival style. Opened in 1872, the memorial consists of an ornate canopy or pavilion containing a statue of Prince Albert facing south.
Pubs are listed by their pint rating (highest first) and then in alphabetical order - the better pubs (in our opinion) appear at the top of the list.
If you spot a misplaced pub, you can tell us where it should be using this form. If you have any feedback on the maps, or anything else for that matter, please email editor@fancyapint.com.
