Exit Wandsworth Town BR station and head head right down Old York Road before turning left up Fairfield Street onto the High Street. Keep walking, pass the brewery, and the pub will be on your right.
The term for the interior of this one is probably "distressed". We have previously described it as "tired", but frankly it feels intentional now with its battered (and comfortable) leather sofas. Just over the canal from what was Young's brewery once upon a time, it looks like it's getting more attention now the business has moved to Bedfordshire. It's pleasant enough on a Friday afternoon, next to the fire with a pint of Winter Warmer, but we'd guess it gets busier in the evenings and when there's sport on the big screen. The beer's good, the wine list's reasonably priced and the menu looks good, too. The staff are friendly and accommodating and overall it's got a very comfortable feeling. Worth avoiding the nearby drinking caverns for in our opinion.
