This is a nice pub, in a nice part of London with nice food and, in part, nice food – lovely pie, boiled courgettes anyone?
My problem is that it lets itself down. It’s the Friday before the final bank holiday of the summer and pay day for many and theres a few office lunches going on. One of their ales Sharp Doom Bar is out of action because of line cleaning, isn’t that why pubs are closed in the mornings? It’s a ten minute wait for a drink and 25 minute wait for the food. And there is no mash for said pie.
Good beer and environment are hard to sort out, a bit of organisation shouldn’t be.posted by lexg17 - Sunday 25th November, 2007, 4:21pm
Fantastic food and a great atmosphere. Well worth travelling from Kent to eat there! Staff are great.
